An interesting video about photography - It's May 15, and I'll be out with my Camera

Today is the day for those who will be participating in Aday.org to be out taking photos.
Here the weather is warm and sunny, and I'm looking forward to being out and about with no purpose but to look for interesting pictures around the three subject areas of Home; Work; and Connections.

This video provides reflections on photographing the "small" everyday things, by Paul Hanson. Paul is the adult who appears on this year's Aday.org promotional video, and posters, with the small girl with her camera.

That was a good video, Brenda. I agree, with shooting what we see. Too many people think they have to have something spectacular or their photos won't be interesting.

Thanks for putting this on.

Geraldine,
I really had fun, just shooting pictures that appealed to me. Today aday.org put out a post asking people to delay uploading their photos for a bit (we have until May 22), because of the overwhelming response from all over the world.
I hope to share their video showing some of the first pictures uploaded. I love the photos for their evident significance to the people who took them.
Have a great day!
Brenda
