ADAY.org – Picture Today Inspire Tomorrow

I found an advertisement today, for Aday.org, which is a project, inviting people from all over the world to submit a photograph, on May 15, which will become apart of a worldwide website. 1000 photos will also be chosen for a book, and world exhibition. This seems to me to have the idea of a time capsule to it.

I haven't been able to "join", which is nothing new when it comes to me and computer world - maybe my helpful son, Paul, might be able to help me with this. :)

Click on the link for a lovely video of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, in support of Aday.org.

There is a cute video, promoting this project, and you can view it if you look at Aday.org.

I'd be interested to hear if you might be considering contributing to this...it sounds like fun!

Hi, Ger,
Thanks for reading here today!
I've been already coming up with ideas of what I might photograph - and agree - projects which create community within our world, are definitely positive.

I am feeling better, and have been out walking.
Have a great weekend!
Hugs,
B

PS: And I hope you had a good weekend too.

Maybe some of those Praire sunsets would be a good place to start for photo inspiration, for this project. They are spectacular some nights, so open the sky...

Thanks re: the book progress too. It was an aha moment, that's for sure. I hope I will be able to help someone else, with the youtube video i shared about Open Office. So easy, just had to find the right help!

Happy Week, G

Ger,
I'm glad that you will now be able to work on your poetry book.
I'll have to remember this video,
if I ever want to use Open Office, it sounds helpful!
It's great what can be found if you look hard enough.

Yes, I've definitely been thinking of sunsets, and Canada geese!
As I've been thinking of the categories - Home, Work, and Community - I've been realizing all over again how fortunate and priviliged I am to live where I do.
BFN.
