The Coventry Carol

I was searching for Christmas and Hanukkah songs, and happily found this young man on You Tube. I like his down to earth presentation. He is working towards recording all the songs from a song book, called Rise Up and Sing, which is quite inspiring!

Here is a very pretty version of a lovely Christmas carol.

I really like this one too. I like all the carols actually. A great time of year for music!

Thanks for the card Brenda. I stopped mailing cards many years ago, one of my attempts to cut down on paper...but it's still nice to receive them! Happy Holidays to you and your dear kitties. I hope they will be featured again soon. Love those catty pics! :<)

This is a carol I remember learning as a child, to sing in the Christmas concert, at school. The words are abit dark, but this is often true of children's songs, and lullabies I have found.

Glad you enjoyed receiving a card, and you're welcome!

How is our dear friend Mr. Cheddar?

Hi Brenda,

Chedster is fine. He appreciates that you want to vote for him but it doesn't seem like the vote/like showed up over at the pet contest site. I don't do FB but I did look over at their page just now. I'm getting the word out elsewhere today too. Thanks if you can stop by again and vote. Ched wants that gift basket!

Have a happy Wednesday, G :<)

Geraldine, I sent you an e-mail about this. Let me know if you didn't get it.

No biggie Brenda. I didn't receive any email. If you aren't on FB that's fine. Ched should be a paw-in anyways, the votes are starting to add up and he is now on a couple more FB pages from friends too. I'm not a fan of FB myself and I don't have my acct. there activated. Thanks anyways. Ched and I appreciate the thought, that's counts too. :<)
