Herb and Art Outdoors

On this sunny day, after several rainy days, I decided to get the cats outdoors.
They haven't been outdoors much at all since we moved into the condo apartment in 2010. I had only one collar, and leash. So, I'd bought a new collar, leash, and two thin tie-out lines.

Herb and Art both seemed to approve of the new deck built by the young guys, who live in the condo, along with their dads.

However, it seemed some blackbirds didn't approve of Herb and Art.

Herb watched the birds from the safety of under the chair.

Arthur spied on the birds through the tall grass.

Arthur seemed to believe he might be safer to watch the birds from under the deck. I needed to use food to coax him out again.

Soon we headed back inside for lunch.
We'll head outside tomorrow, weather permitting. :)

What a cute story about the boys. They are probably wondering what this new world is all about. Love this post.

Thanks for visiting, Teri!
Yes,I think they are going to soon love being outside, but the first day may have rattled them abit.

This was fun to see! The boys looked like they enjoyed the adventure, just a matter of repetition, I imagine. Bumby just whispered in my ear that now she is torn. They both look so handsome that her devotion is wavering. Uh oh! Ann

Thanks Ann, and Minerva for visiting,
I now am not sure if I will take the cats, outdoors, they have been having some behaviors such as waking me up, at 3:30 a.m. and scratching, and calling. Someone mentioned to me, that it may be that now that they've been out, that they now want ouside at this time.
And, yet still, I believe they should have the chance to be outdoors, and feel the grass, and fresh air.
It's been raining quite abit, so haven't needd to make a decision yet.
